Protection of personal data
Protecting your privacy is important to us, so we want to help you with this information to understand what your personal information we collect, why we collect them, how we use them, what processing procedures we perform, and what your rights are and how you can enforce them.
1. General
Matjaž Mihevc, Tovarniška cesta 8a, 1370 Logatec (hereinafter: the manager) is aware of the importance of the protection of personal data and has therefore aligned this area with the European Union Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal Directive 95/46 / EC (hereinafter: GDPR).
The main goal of the operator is to offer you superior service and thus achieve your optimal satisfaction. The collection and processing of certain personal information enables the manager to adapt to your needs and preferences faster and better, and provide you with more effective communication and a better user experience.

2. Personal data
According to GDPR personal information means any information concerning a particular or determinable individual.
The controller collects and processes exclusively only those personal information you provided when registering for a particular service (sign-up on e-news or by filling in the non-binding demand form). These personal data are: first and last name, company, phone number, email address and IP address.
If you provide information on behalf of someone else, you must ensure that they have been previously informed and aware of this Privacy Notice. If you are under 16 years old, you should only provide personal information if you have a parent or legal representative for this permission.
The administrator asks you to communicate any changes to your contact information in order to maintain the up-to-date information.
3. Protection of personal data
The Manager uses and processes personal data on the basis of valid Slovenian legislation and European Union law.
The administrator, as the data controller, respects your privacy and undertakes to carefully protect all personal data collected and will not forward it to third parties or use them for any other purpose than for the purposes for which personal data have been transmitted without your consent.
Personal data collected by the controller from you may be transferred to third parties, ensuring that there is a legal basis for the transfer (your explicit consent or statutory provision).
All your personal information is stored on the secure servers of the controller or on secure subcontractors ‘or business partners’ control (or in secure print), using the operator’s security policies and standards when accessing and using them.
Although it is not possible to provide complete protection against cyber attacks when downloading data via the Internet or on the web, the manager is seriously endeavoring to carry out physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your data with their subcontractors and business partners in accordance with the applicable data protection requirements.
The access to your information has been limited by the operator to those who need it for the purpose in question.
4. The time of retention of personal data
The period of retention of personal data depends on the basis and purpose of processing a particular category of personal data. Personal data shall be kept only as long as is prescribed or allowed and necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected or further processed. Personal data shall be erased, destroyed, blocked or anonymised after the purpose of the processing, if there is no other legal basis or if it is necessary for the enforcement, enforcement or defense of legal claims.
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
you require the operator to provide you with further details on how the operator uses your information, access your personal information and copies of the information you have provided to the operator, you receive personal information that you have provided to the controller in a structured, widely used and machine-readable form, and the right to forward this information without hindrance to another controller, where technically feasible, if the processing of your data is based on your consent or contract and carries out with automated means, you ask the controller to update any inaccuracies in the information that it holds, ask the operator to delete all data for which he no longer has a legal basis, when the processing is based on consent and in relation to any direct marketing, you will revoke your consent with effect from time to time, so that the operator stops that processing, you object to any processing based on legitimate interests due to your particular circumstances, unless the operator’s reasons for that processing have priority over any interference with your data protection rights, you ask the controller to limit the way in which your data is used, for example during the examination of the complaint.
Exercise of these rights is subject to certain exceptions to the protection of the public interest (eg the prevention or detection of criminal offenses), the interests of the controller (eg ensuring confidentiality) or the rights and freedoms of others. If you exercise any of these rights, the operator will verify your eligibility and respond without undue delay, but at the latest within a month. In complicated cases or when you receive a large number of requests, this time limit may be extended by another two months, which will be notified by the controller.
